Job summary

Expedia Group in Seattle is seeking an iOS Engineer II to join the Search Entry team. You will build, test, and maintain iOS apps delivering reliable experiences for travelers and partners, translating requirements into mobile solutions using Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and API integration.

You will collaborate across disciplines to design systems, models, and APIs, apply debugging and performance practices, and safely integrate AI/ML-enabled features to improve outcomes for millions of users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience in mobile development.
• Experience owning and delivering capabilities within an iOS service, application, or product domain, with cross-functional contribution.
• Proficiency in Swift and core iOS development, including UIKit or SwiftUI, with API design and data modeling experience.
• Experience writing maintainable, testable code and contributing to debugging and production support.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain iOS applications delivering reliable, intuitive experiences for travelers and partners.
• Translate product requirements into mobile solutions using Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and API integration.
• Contribute to system design, low-level design, API integration, data modeling, and decisions within a service or product domain.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to deliver features from development through production.
• Apply debugging, testing, monitoring, and operations practices to improve quality, performance, and reliability.
• Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve outcomes, while learning AI-driven workflows.
