Expedia Group in Seattle seeks an iOS Engineer II to join the Search Entry team, focusing on the iOS form and entry points for websites and mobile apps. You’ll leverage Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and AI/ML-driven approaches to deliver personalized experiences for millions of travelers.

The role emphasizes building, testing, and maintaining high-quality iOS apps, collaborating across product and engineering teams, and applying modern design patterns in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent related professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience in mobile development.
• Experience owning and delivering capabilities within an iOS service, application, or product domain, with the ability to contribute across multiple technical areas as needed.
• Proficiency in Swift and core iOS development, including UIKit or SwiftUI, along with experience designing and consuming APIs, modeling data, and applying low-level design principles.
• Experience writing maintainable, testable code and contributing to debugging, code reviews, performance improvement, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, test, and maintain iOS applications that deliver reliable, intuitive experiences for travelers and partners.
• Translate product requirements into well-structured mobile solutions using Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and established iOS development practices.
• Contribute to system design, low-level design, API integration, data modeling, and technical decisions within a service or product domain.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and quality partners to deliver features from development through production operation.
• Apply debugging, testing, monitoring, and operational practices to improve application quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions that improve outcomes, while building familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, workflows, and applying AI/ML concepts to real-world products.
