Job summary

Horizon Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, is seeking an IOP Therapist for UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital in Dubuque, IA. The role focuses on clinical assessment, group and individual therapy, and interdisciplinary treatment planning within the behavioral health program.

Licensed professionals (LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) with 1–3 years of relevant experience will provide day-to-day clinical operations, including documentation, supervision, and collaboration with care teams.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in social work or clinical counseling required.
• Active IA clinical license (LMSW/LCSW/LMFT/LPC) or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of related working experience.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum development and implementation.
• Referral management, assessments and direct client contact (group, individual and family therapy).
• Implement and manage systems to ensure effective communication with clients, families, referral sources and other relevant entities.
• Treatment, discharge and safety planning.
• Thorough and timely clinical documentation.
• Active participation in clinical consultation, supervision and collaboration.
• Other duties as assigned.

IOP Therapist- Behavioral Health- Part time 20-24 hours per week

Horizon Health is seeking an IOP Therapist (Licensed Master Social Worker LMSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist LMFT, or Licensed Professional Counselor LPC) for our behavioral health program at UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital in Dubuque, IA. This clinical position is responsible for day-to-day clinical operations of the assigned location. Responsibilities include but are not limited to clinical assessment, group therapy, individual therapy, interdisciplinary treatment planning and other clinical interventions as deemed necessary.
