Veeco Instruments Inc. is seeking a Product Support Engineer for Ion Beam New Product Introduction to support new product development and launches from a Service readiness perspective.

The role focuses on Veeco’s Ion Beam Systems and Sources, working as a liaison between the factory, field service, and customers during development, installation, and early adoption. Travel is expected domestically and internationally.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Support, Field Service, Product Support, or related roles.
• Strong technical background in semiconductor equipment, ion beam systems, vacuum systems, and related processes.

Aufgaben

• Represent Service requirements throughout the product lifecycle for new product development and NPI.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to introduce new products and service solutions.
• Develop expertise in Veeco Ion Beam Systems and Sources and ensure field readiness and launch deliverables.
• Translate engineering and manufacturing knowledge into practical service execution, including documentation and training.
• Deliver or support training for Field Service Engineers and customers during installations and early product adoption.
