Job summary

Harbor IT is seeking an experienced Invoicing Manager to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all customer billing in a $100M+ MSP environment. You will lead billing operations, drive automation, and ensure GAAP ASC 606 compliance while partnering with Finance, Sales Ops, and Service Delivery.

This leadership role focuses on process excellence, scalable invoicing, and a customer-centric approach, managing a small team of billing specialists and coordinating with multiple departments to support

Qualifications

• 5+ years of invoicing experience in an MSP environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Accounting software proficiency like NetSuite.
• MSP software proficiency like ConnectWise.
• Account reconciliation of revenue and related accounts.
• Managerial experience—will manage a team of 2.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full billing cycle for recurring, project-based, and hardware-as-a-service revenue; ensure invoices are accurate and timely.
• Establish and improve SOPs for invoicing and ensure GAAP ASC 606 alignment.
• Drive automation and efficiency in invoicing through ERP and billing tools.
• Collaborate with Sales Ops, Service Delivery, and Finance for accurate billing and forecasts.
• Lead and develop a team of billing specialists; monitor accuracy and deadlines.
