Aberdeen Investments is seeking an Investor Services & Intermediary Oversight Associate to deliver high-quality investor and intermediary experiences across the U.S. product range, including mutual funds, ETFs and separately managed accounts.

Working with Distribution, Product, Compliance and Legal teams, you will oversee transfer agents, intermediaries and platform relationships, supporting governance, due diligence and ongoing operational improvements while maintaining strong controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within asset management, mutual fund operations, ETF operations, transfer agency, intermediary operations, fund administration or a related financial services function.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required within 90 days of commencing employment.
• Strong understanding of the operational lifecycle of U.S. registered investment products.
• Experience working with transfer agents, financial intermediaries, broker-dealers, distribution platforms or other financial services providers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research issues, evaluate information and drive matters through resolution.
• Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated risk and control mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external business partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with operational data.
• Preferred knowledge of U.S. mutual fund distribution and shareholder servicing arrangements.
• Experience with DTCC/NSCC processes and related industry infrastructure.
• Knowledge of financial intermediary compensation, including 12b-1, shareholder servicing, sub-transfer agency and revenue-sharing arrangements.
• Experience with financial intermediary oversight, operational due diligence and outsourced service-provider governance.
• Experience supporting mutual funds, ETFs and/or separately managed accounts, including launches or other significant product events.
• Familiarity with operational risk management, control assessment and issue remediation.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day transfer agency and investor servicing provider oversight, monitoring performance, controls, incidents and issues; coordinate resolution and escalation.
• Support intermediary oversight through ongoing due diligence, onboarding and maintenance of relationships; coordinate changes to agreements and requirements.
• Provide operational guidance to Wealth Management Distribution; complete due diligence questionnaires and information requests.
• Develop knowledge of Aberdeen's product structures (mutual funds, ETFs, SMA) and coordinate readiness across product lifecycles.
• Monitor governance, controls, reporting and remediation; contribute to continuous improvement and regulatory change initiatives.
