Job summary

Aberdeen Investments in Philadelphia seeks an Associate to support a small senior Institutional Sales team in driving business plans. You’ll collaborate with internal partners to maximize resources, support relationship management, and ensure efficient client engagement.

You will shadow senior staff in all aspects of their roles, coordinate meetings, maintain Salesforce data, and help screen RFPs while coordinating outreach to key decision makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Series 7 required.
• 2-5 years of institutional asset management experience preferred.
• Understanding of institutional channels (public funds, corporate, endowment, Taft-Hartley, and insurance).
• Ability to multi-task and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shadow senior Institutional Sales, Consultant Relations, and Relationship Management to learn territory, channel, clients and consultants.
• Coordinate all aspects of external meetings for the team including prep and post meeting follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate client, prospect and consultant data in Salesforce and monitor pipeline.
• Use market intelligence tools to identify industry trends and lead generation opportunities.
• Screen RFPs and coordinate fee proposals; plan outreach to target audiences before events.
