Job summary

Northern Trust in Tempe seeks a Consultant, Investor Services to support investor lifecycle activities for hedge funds and alternative investments, including subscriptions, redemptions, reporting, AML/KYC and client servicing.

You will work with fund managers and internal teams, handle inquiries, and help with due diligence, audits and process improvements. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field is required; CFA/ACCA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Experience in hedge funds, asset servicing, alternative investments, private markets, or fund administration.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CFA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and process investor subscriptions and redemptions in line with regulatory and fund requirements.
• Manage investor transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and capital activity reporting.
• Conduct AML, KYC and client verification reviews per internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and issue investor statements, trade confirmations and other investor reporting.
• Maintain investor records, share registers and subscription bank account details.
• Collaborate with fund managers, investors and internal teams to resolve inquiries and operational issues.
• Assist with investor audits and ongoing due diligence activities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert within Investor Services and guide junior team members.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the client experience.
• Handle complex client and operational matters with significant business impact.
