Job summary

Capital Factory is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to connect our portfolio founders with angels and venture investors in Texas. You will execute IR programs, onboard new investors, and help startups understand fundraising options while leveraging our investor network and tools.

You’ll build long-term relationships with investors, organize office hours, and curate deal introductions daily. This role offers growth in a dynamic startup ecosystem and a chance to shape capital access in

Qualifications

• Experience in startup and technology markets.
• Basic understanding of startup funding terms, options, and mechanisms.
• Data-driven approach to problem solving.
• Organized and proactive with strong planning.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Ability to deliver high quality work on time under time pressure.
• Willing to work at least 45 hours per week.
• Plan to stay in Texas and commit to 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Make valuable introductions between founders and investors when there is mutual interest.
• Be the primary point-of-contact for investors, building long-term relationships and sharing relevant startups, events, and opportunities, while tracking engagement.
• Organize office hours, in-person and virtual, for investors to meet with relevant portfolio founders.
• Network with venture capitalists and angel investors to establish deal flow relationships.
• Attend events with investors and introduce new portfolio companies.
• Take calls and meetings with investors to understand their investment thesis and who to introduce them to.
• Make over a dozen curated introductions between investors and our portfolio founders daily.
• Attend our weekly Ventures Team Sync, Investor Relations Sync and other relevant meetings.
• Attend our monthly First Look events.
