Trexquant Investment is seeking an Associate General Counsel with a strong background in private funds and a focus on investment-technology legal matters to help guide our growth. You will collaborate closely with leadership, the CLO and CCO, and cross-functional teams on legal strategy and policy development.

Responsibilities include advising on regulatory obligations, managing risk across trading and operations, and supporting investigations while partnering with the Compliance and Technology

Formación

• JD and at least 8 years of relevant legal experience.
• Active license to practice law and good standing with the applicable bar association.
• Fluency in using evolving technologies in business and when providing counsel.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as day-to-day point of contact and responsible manager for the adviser’s legal guidance and policy development.
• Advise on financial market and global trading regulatory obligations, including execution, trading, and operations matters.
• Support regulatory and legal risk management by participating in business and product development meetings.
• Advise Compliance, Technology, Finance, Investor Relations, and Management teams on financial and business legal risks.
• Support other attorneys across a range of advisor legal responsibilities.
• Assist internal investigations and respond to regulatory inquiries as needed.
