Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar license.
• Comfort with evolving technologies in business.
• Experience in financial services or tech-enabled environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day strategic legal counsel to executives on organizational and corporate developments with a focus on technology-related matters and U.S. and global compliance.
• Advise on corporate organizational matters and strategic transactions including mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and other initiatives.
• Provide guidance on compensation, employment, and workforce-related legal matters.
• Advise on immigration, trade, and cross-border legal issues impacting New York and Connecticut operations.
• Lead and coordinate internal resources and external counsel; allocate legal work effectively.
• Oversee general corporate legal matters and evolving needs of the company.
• Support executive management with risk assessment and senior-level legal judgment for negotiations.
• Mentor the legal team and collaborate with Associate General Counsel.
• Interact with the CEO and governance bodies to shape corporate strategy and governance.
