Job summary

Washington Trust Bank in Spokane is seeking a Securities Sales Assistant/Trader to help current customers with buy/sell orders, open accounts for investment products, and ensure compliance with securities regulations. Responsibilities

• Accept buy and sell orders from current customers.
• Open new accounts for non-deposit investments following interviews and research.
• Ensure adherence to securities regulations and safe banking practices.
• Develop working knowledge of deposit and non-deposit products to support trading.
• Assist Investment Officers with account openings, presentations, and client reviews.
• Post transactions and maintain documentation and client books.
• Provide back-up support for other Sales Assistants as needed.
