Job summary

HLS Trading in Miami/Greenwich seeks an Investment Coordinator to serve as the central hub between the investment team and external partners, including LPs, data vendors, brokers, and the middle office. The role also covers core firm operations, recruiting support, and ensuring the day-to-day investment process runs smoothly.

You will monitor costs across futures and FX, coordinate vendor relationships, and manage onboarding, reporting, and compliance with the founders' guidance.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years at a hedge fund, asset manager, bank, or broker in a coordination, business management, broker relations, or operations capacity.
• Markets: Working knowledge of futures and FX markets.
• Excel: Strong proficiency, including lookups, pivots, and building analysis from raw data.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including holding vendors and counterparties to account.
• Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, closing loops without being reminded.
• Mindset: Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, with a passion for enabling high-performance teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate payroll, benefits, and firm invoices with our service providers.
• Manage complex scheduling, travel logistics, and expense processes with efficiency and accuracy.
• Proactively resolve conflicts, prioritize competing demands, and take on projects as the firm scales.
• Support recruiting, including the interview calendar, candidate logistics, and new-hire onboarding.
• Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for our LPs, coordinating reporting and due diligence questionnaires.
• Coordinate onboarding and documentation for new vendors and counterparties.
• Monitor the day-to-day investment process and track execution costs across futures and FX.
• Build and maintain reporting on execution costs and process health over time.
• Deliver bespoke reporting to the investment team and assist with compliance recordkeeping.
