Qualifications

• 1-3 years in Trade Management, Investment Operations, or Finance
• Strong understanding of bank loans and trade lifecycle
• Familiarity with credit agreement terms and operational processes
• Ability to perform detailed data reconciliations across multiple systems
• Experience with enterprise LMS or similar tools is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Proficiency with BlackRock Aladdin preferred

Investment Operations Associate – New York, NY (onsite)

Asset management and holding company is looking for an Associate to join the Investment Operations Team. You'll be joining a nimble, experienced team focused on trade operations and reporting across various structured product asset classes, including private credit, broadly syndicated loans, asset-based leases and loans. Specifically, you'll assist in all stages of trade allocation, settlement, life cycle activity, reporting, and reconciliations. This position involves daily cross-functional collaboration, both internally across teams and externally with broker-dealers, custodians, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting full lifecycle of private credit investments, including trade support, event processing, cash and position reconciliations, deal closings and funding coordination
• Liaising with agents, servicers, custodians and counterparties across a range of private credit products to monitor and resolve settlement breaks and exceptions
• Partnering with research, portfolio management, fund accounting, and technology to identify process improvements and automate workflows
• Working closely with internal and external parties to address operational needs and drive them to resolution
• Enhancing the operational infrastructure to drive scalability, while also maintaining a focus on governance and controls
• Leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making and output

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to work effectively in a time-sensitive environment with daily interactions across multiple business units
• Demonstrated self-starter who can balance competing priorities, and work both autonomously and as part of a high performing team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including taking the initiative to build and enhance controls

• Strong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of trade lifecycle

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in Trade Management, Investment Operations, or Finance, ideally within a buy-side environment
• Strong understanding of bank loans and the trade lifecycle, including primary and secondary closings for direct investments under LSTA/LMA documentation standards
• Familiarity with credit agreement terms and how they translate into day-to-day operational processes
• Ability to perform detailed data reconciliations across multiple source systems
• Prior use of an enterprise LMS, such as Sentry, Allvue, LoanIQ, Wall Street Office or similar
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar field
• Proficiency with Blackrock Aladdin preferred
