Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Our client, a global alternative investment firm, is seeking an Investment Operations Associate to join their Private Funds group in a middle office capacity. This hybrid role, based in New York, offers broad exposure to the investment team and the full trade lifecycle. The role includes responsibilities in risk analysis, P&L, liquidity management, and trade support; offering an opportunity to develop a diverse operations skill set in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Job Function

• Collaborate with multiple investment teams, including private equity, distressed debt, and emerging markets.
• Support all private fund transactions across the full trade lifecycle.
• Work closely with traders and portfolio managers on hedging and risk analysis.
• Assist in analyzing investment opportunities, market trends, and financial data.
• Help manage portfolio risk and prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Participate in developing financial models to assess portfolio performance.
• Provide insights to optimize fund strategy and overall fund health.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 3 - 8 years of experience in financial services operations or middle office.
• Experience with corporate distressed debt, including corporate bonds, total return swaps, credit derivatives, and credit swaps.
