Spotify Advertising is seeking an Associate Manager to join our Americas Creative Operations team. We work collaboratively with brands and agencies to inspire, create, and scale creativity with Spotify-first thinking. Our purpose is to build brand experiences that demonstrate the creative, cultural and contextual potential of Spotify that fans love. In this role, you'll be instrumental in leading production with our top clients, optimizing workflows, and strategically partnering with our external production vendors.

The Associate Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting Spotify's Sales teams by directly overseeing the end-to-end production of diverse ad campaign components (digital, video, audio) for Spotify's top clients, as well as finding opportunities to enhance our internal production functions and workflows. This position requires a proactive problem solver who can seamlessly bridge client expectations with efficient, scalable production realities.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in ad production and operational strategy, with a proven ability to drive productivity and navigate complex cross-functional workflows. They are a passionate problem-solver who excels at interpreting and diplomatically conveying intricate feedback to clients, internal partners, and vendors..

This is a dynamic role within Spotify's fast-paced, high-growth environment, offering a unique opportunity to strategically support our evolving advertising business and drive significant impact. This role reports to the Americas Lead on the Creative Operations team, part of Spotify's Business Operations team, which spearheads strategy, operations, and creative production for Spotify Advertising.

What You'll Do

  • Strategically manage campaign production across key accounts, providing expert consultation on creative standard processes, project roadmaps, client communication, and long-term partnership goals.
  • Serve as the primary partner for ad campaign production — Driving strategic kick-offs, coordinating across internal teams and external partners, managing client-facing assets and materials, and ensuring a white-glove client experience across music, podcast, and display campaigns.
  • Cultivate, maintain, and build strong relationships within our production partner network. Managing their performance, informing creative standard methodologies, leading the onboarding of new partners, and proactively addressing any production-related feedback or issues to ensure seamless and high-quality output.
  • Drive key Creative Operations initiatives focused on enhancing scalability and efficiency, including the evolution of our podcast production ecosystem, refinement of production workflows, operationalization of new ad formats, and the development of innovative project management tools.
  • Proactively identify and analyze production process bottlenecks and trends, developing and implementing strategic optimizations across teams. You will serve as the central liaison for all creative and production-related issues, both internal and external.
  • Advocate for automation and initiatives that improve our creative and production processes, representing Creative Operations in broader cross-functional company initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Support internal and external production partners by sharing knowledge on current and new production processes to encourage ongoing improvements.

Who You Are

  • A min of 5+ years of experience in a client-facing, project management, or account management role, with a proven track record in managing high-volume creative output.
  • Extensive experience in creative project management with deep knowledge of the ad production process across multiple mediums, including streaming audio, podcasts, digital experiences, and display.
  • A strong understanding of how creative execution drives advertiser strategy and campaign objectives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and partnering with external production vendors and resources, including vendor onboarding, performance management, and strategic allocation.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with high-caliber clients, effectively translating their needs into actionable strategies for creative and sales-focused teams while managing expectations.
  • Exceptional operational competence with the ability to identify systemic issues and implement scalable solutions.
  • Highly effective yet diplomatic communication skills, with the ability to drive timelines, solve complex problems, and expertly organize intricate projects.
  • A proactive and organized multitasker, adaptable, skilled at navigating ambiguity, handling unexpected challenges, and successfully completing complex projects.
  • Strong interest and/or experience in the implementation and utilization of automation and AI within the creative production space.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite products and project management software (Asana preferred).

Where You'll Be

  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the US region as long as we have a work location.
  • This team operates within the Eastern time zone for collaboration.

The United States base range for this position is $92,450 - $132,072, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
