The role emphasizes reviewing daily risk and reporting, facilitating investor communications, and assisting with forecasting and modeling for routine and ad hoc needs. Strong Excel and financial modeling skills are required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in investment operations or portfolio compliance.
• Understanding of fixed income, leveraged credit, structured products, or private markets.
• Experience reviewing portfolio guidelines, compliance testing, or fund operations.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support oversight of third-party service providers responsible for portfolio monitoring, compliance testing, and reporting functions across structured credit and private market investment strategies.
• Review daily compliance, risk, and portfolio reporting to ensure adherence to governing documents, investment guidelines, and internal policies.
• Analyze periodic compliance test results and collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate the completion and distribution of investor reporting packages.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, distribution analysis, and financial modeling for recurring and ad hoc reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain independent validation models to verify calculations and reporting produced by external vendors.
• Participate in pre-trade analysis by evaluating the impact of prospective investment transactions on portfolio guidelines, concentration limits, and compliance metrics.
• Support portfolio management teams with scenario analysis, investment activity reviews, and compliance-related inquiries across credit and private market portfolios.
• Coordinate with accounting, operations, investor relations, and finance teams to support monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables.
• Prepare customized reports and respond to data requests from internal investment professionals, senior management, and business partners.
• Assist with the preparation and ongoing enhancement of investor presentations, fundraising materials, and portfolio marketing content.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to portfolio reporting, compliance monitoring, and data management.

Qualifications

• Understanding of fixed income, leveraged credit, structured products, private credit, private equity, or alternative investment strategies.
• Experience reviewing portfolio guidelines, compliance testing, investment reporting, or fund operations.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
• Knowledge of portfolio monitoring, cash flow analysis, and valuation concepts within public and private market investments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced investment environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across investment, operations, compliance, and client-facing teams.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
