Job summary

Daley And Associates, LLC is seeking a Senior Private Credit Operations Analyst in Boston, MA. The role supports all operational activities within the private credit team with 4-5+ years’ experience. Salary ranges from $100k to $140k with bonus, and a hybrid schedule (on-site 3 days/week).

You will coordinate closings, settlements, and ongoing operations with custodians, lenders, and legal teams, while staying current on regulatory requirements across asset classes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or Computer Science required.
• 4-5+ years' experience in a private credit operations role.
• Experience reviewing Private Credit loan documents for key terms and operational details.
• Strong MS Excel skills and data manipulation ability.
• Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between the firm and client custodian banks for private investments, including closing and settlement coordination and post-settlement activity.
• Assist investment and legal teams with closing activities and transaction management, both internally and with external service providers.
• Act as the first line of support to resolve issues with settlement, payment discrepancies, fund administration, agency, and custodial teams.
• Support investment and trading teams with new security setup, trade compliance, and trade execution processes.
• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and understand investment guidelines across multiple asset classes and teams.
• Assist the legal team with deal amendments and coordinate updates to downstream systems.
• Work with Operations and Client Relationship teams to answer custodian questions and investigate discrepancies.
• Act as data steward for private market data and coordinate updates to internal systems.
• Liaise on cross-functional private markets projects to ensure representation.
• Support all operational aspects of the private credit lifecycle from deal execution through settlement and loan payoff.
• Perform private credit loan administration activities and capture necessary attributes to book transactions.

Senior Private Credit Operations Analyst - Boston, MA

We are seeking candidates for a Senior Private Credit Operations Analyst position with a highly successful global asset management firm located in Boston, MA. This position will be responsible for supporting all operational activities within the private credit team at the firm. The ideal candidate will have 4-5+ years of experience supporting private credit teams and is motivated to learn about new strategies and opportunities within the private credit space.

This is a permanent position that will pay a base salary of $100-140k + bonus (depending on experience). This position offers a hybrid work model, on-site 3 days/week in their Bostonoffice.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact between the firm and client custodian banks with respect to private investments, including closing and settlement coordination and all post-settlement activity.

• Assist the investment and legal teams with closing activities and transaction management, both internally and with external service providers.

• Act as the first line of support to resolve issues with settlement, payment discrepancies, fund administration, agency, and custodial teams.

• Support investment and trading teams with new security setup, trade compliance, and trade execution processes.

• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and understand investment guidelines across multiple asset classes, products, and investment teams, and act as the first line of support for queries.

• Assist the legal team with deal amendments and coordinate updates to downstream systems.

• Work with Operations and Client Relationship teams to answer custodian questions, investigate agency discrepancies, and respond to queries from clients.

• Act as data steward for all private market data, working with operational teams to update discrepancies to various internal systems.

• Act as Private Market liaison for various cross-functional projects, ensuring private markets have representation on major firm-wide initiatives

• Support all operational aspects of the private credit lifecycle, from deal execution through settlement and loan payoff.

• Perform private credit loan administration activities, identifying and capturing the necessary attributes required to book transactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or Computer Science is required.

• 4-5+ years' experience in a private credit operations role supporting the private credit lifecycle.

• Experience reviewing Private Credit loan documents (credit agreements, amendments, payoffs) for key terms and operational details.

• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, comfort with mid-level data manipulation, and the ability to learn new systems, are required.

• Solid math and quantitative skills.

• Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail skills.

• Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of self-management.

• Experience implementing new processes and operating models.

• Effective written and oral communication skills.
