Ares Management Corporation in New York seeks an Investment Operations Analyst for its Operational Excellence team. You will own reconciliation and risk processes, partner across Ops, Portfolio Management, Technology, and Fund Administration to resolve issues, and drive automation to scale the platform.

The role emphasizes strengthening controls, reducing risk, and hands-on analytics to improve end-to-end workflows within a sophisticated credit and alternative investment platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–6 years in Investment Operations, Middle Office, Fund Operations, or related financial services.
• Experience supporting bank loan operations, private credit, fixed income, or alternatives.
• Strong analytical, governance, and control mindset; cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with custodian banks, broker dealers, and fund administrators.

Responsabilités

• Own daily reconciliation processes across investment portfolios and resolve operational risks.
• Lead investigations into complex exceptions with root-cause analysis and cross-functional resolution.
• Identify systemic issues, implement control enhancements, and improve governance.
• Partner with PM, Fund Administration, Treasury, Tech, Finance, and Operations to fix issues.
• Lead automation and tech-driven process improvements and dashboard development.
