Job summary

Landing Point is seeking an Investment Operations Associate to support its investment platform in New York. The role focuses on ownership of reconciliation processes, issue resolution, and enhancement of operational controls to strengthen governance and reduce risk.

You will work with custodians, fund administrators, and cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, enable automation, and drive system enhancements. A strong background in investment operations and analytics is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment operations or a related field.
• Strong understanding of operational controls and risk management.
• Proficiency in leveraging automation, data analytics, and process optimization.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with system enhancements and technology-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own daily cash, par, and non-custody reconciliation processes across investment portfolios.
• Lead investigations into complex operational exceptions and coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts.
• Identify systemic issues and implement control enhancements to improve operational resilience.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to operational controls to strengthen governance and reduce risk.
• Partner with various departments to resolve complex operational issues and improve workflows.
• Build relationships with custodian banks and external service providers for timely issue resolution.
• Review fund administrator processing for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Contribute to initiatives to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Drive system enhancements, platform migrations, and new business implementations.
• Develop operational metrics and dashboards for performance and risk insights.
• Participate in strategic projects and represent Investment Operations in project meetings.
