Job summary

Atlas Search in Manhattan is seeking an Investment Operations Consultant to support post-trade activities, reconciliations, and reporting across portfolios.

You will run daily reconciliations of cash, holdings, and transactions, support equity and derivative trades through settlement, and work with custodians to resolve discrepancies. The role emphasizes accuracy, process improvements, and risk controls, with monthly reporting and audits as part of the remit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field.
• 4+ years in investment, hedge fund or middle-office operations, or in fund administration or a similar financial services setting.
• Solid grounding in the trade lifecycle, settlement, reconciliations, and custodian/broker relationships.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve settlement exceptions and trade discrepancies with custodians and counterparties.
• Keep holdings, cash balances and investment records accurate in accounting, custody and reporting platforms.
• Build monthly investment reports, cash reports, portfolio summaries and operations dashboards; support holdings and performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Administer proxy voting across portfolios, tracking deadlines and submissions with custodians and the investment team.
• Pull documentation and supporting schedules for auditors.
• Pitch in on ad-hoc projects.

• Keep holdings, cash balances and investment records accurate in the accounting, custody and reporting platforms
• Build monthly investment reports, cash reports, portfolio summaries and operations dashboards, and support holdings and performance reporting for senior stakeholders

Requirements
