Job summary

Catalyst Corporate in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking an Investment Officer to strengthen relationships with credit unions and expand Catalyst’s market presence by selling fixed-income products, CDs, private placements of subordinated debt, loan participations, non-member deposit issuances, and other market-driven instruments.

Travel is expected to comprise 10% to 20% of the role, and proactive client engagement via phone, email, virtual meetings, board presentations, and in-person visits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in fixed-income financial markets or business development within financial institutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Power Suite.
• Strong knowledge of fixed-income investment products.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
• Strong relationship-building and client management skills.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to manage and grow a portfolio of business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing credit union clients while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Strategically manage assigned accounts to increase Catalyst’s market share and meet individual sales goals.
• Effectively communicate investment opportunities through various channels, including virtual and in-person interactions.
• Represent Catalyst at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and expand the client base.
