Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fixed income securities trading and/or portfolio management, including direct exposure to ABS and MBS products.
• Strong understanding of fixed income instruments, bond math, derivatives, and mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and asset-backed securities (ABS).
• Ability to interpret economic data. Understanding of monetary policy and its impact on rates and shape of the yield curve
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and Excel
• High attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Support the VP of Portfolio Management in executing investment strategies.
• Manage balance sheet risk.
• Optimize portfolio performance within established investment policy guidelines.
• Grow into a more senior investment role.
