Job summary

Bank of America in Massachusetts seeks an investment-focused advisor to help clients achieve financial goals through brokerage and banking solutions. You will build financial plans, review goals, and reference internal partners to deliver tailored investment strategies.

The role requires Series 7 and 66 licenses with at least one year in investments or financial services sales, and a customer-centric, results-driven approach within a 40-hour, in-office schedule.

Qualifications

• Currently holds Series 7 and 66 licenses; if you do not currently hold the 66 but have either a 63 or 65, an offer can be extended with the condition that a passing score is received for the missing series within 60 days
• Minimum of one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
• Minimum of one year of experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded

Responsibilities

• Plans clients' short- and long-term financial goals by building a plan with brokerage products (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and managed solutions)
• Recommends banking and investments strategies aligned with client goals and needs
• Triages client requests and refers to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and assets
• Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities
• Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
• Provides coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and products recommended
