Job summary

Bank of America in the United States seeks a Financial Advisor to provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals. The role involves meeting with clients, reviewing goals, building financial plans, and recommending brokerage products.

Candidates must hold Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65), plus at least one year in investments or financial services, and be able to work Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Series 7 and 66 licenses (or the equivalent 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) are required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the investments industry with investment product knowledge.
• Minimum of one year in financial services or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Works with clients to plan short and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money managed solutions.
• Recommends banking and investments strategies that align with client financial goals and needs.
• Triages client requests and makes referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
• Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities.
• Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
• Provides coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services recommended.
