1P284 THE CARLYLE GROUP EMPLOYEE CO., LLC is seeking a Data Scientist to join its Investment Data Science Team. You will fuse advanced data science with commercial insight to inform due diligence and growth strategies, collaborating with investment teams and leaders to drive value creation.

Responsibilities include building data-centric tools, conducting rigorous analysis, and supporting live due diligence with rapid, data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related area.
• At least 8 years of relevant data science experience; hedge funds/financial services preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into business strategy.
• Experience with investment due diligence and financial modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to guide investment strategies and due diligence.
• Develop data tools and products to scale deal support and value creation.
• Lead data-driven initiatives across deal teams and portfolio companies.
• Perform hypothesis testing, statistical analysis, and modeling under tight deadlines.
