Job summary

Hall Capital Holdings is seeking a Data Scientist to own data, research, and analytics across both private and public market portfolios. You will build dashboards for portfolio companies and support research for the firm's securities portfolio, working directly with leadership to turn operating data into decisions.

You'll lead data infrastructure, forecasting, pricing analytics, and AI-driven research, reporting to the COO and collaborating with CFO and deal team on-site in Palm Harbor, FL.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in data science, quantitative research, or advanced analytics.
• Experience with investment research or operating businesses a plus.
• Strong Python or SQL with dashboard-building skills.
• Experience building data pipelines and data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own live dashboards for portfolio companies.
• Own pricing analytics, competitor monitoring, and price elasticity.
• Forecast demand and sales, inventory planning, and LTV segmentation.
• Build automated data pipelines from various sources and central store.
• Generate actionable insights to drive business improvements.
• Lead portfolio reporting and support investment team with research.
• Apply AI tools for research, monitoring, and reporting.
