Job summary

MFS is looking for a Data Management Analyst in Boston to drive data quality and governance across investment data domains. You will own data stewardship, analyze data flows, and partner with operations, technology, and reporting teams to strengthen data accuracy and availability.

You will lead data standardization efforts, manage issues, and contribute to strategic data initiatives that enable reliable investment reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, computer science, data science, or related field.
• 6–8+ years of investment data, analytics, and/or investment operations experience.
• Strong project management and process management skills to guide data quality improvement projects.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to develop scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify, problem solve and track investment data quality and accuracy concerns to resolution.
• Autonomously manage and prioritize the backlog of data quality issues and requests.
• Subject matter expert on end-to-end data flows and data dependencies to track data lineage and resolve ambiguities.
• Develop broad solutions by working cross-functionally with operations, technology, distribution, legal and compliance.
• Provide SME for data-related strategic initiatives and support data package development.
• Execute data standardization activities to achieve short-term issue resolution.
• Ensure data policies and standards are adhered to within stakeholder systems and reports.
• Inform funding decisions with respect to data and technology needs for data management.
• Develop and improve Data Management team processes and dashboards.
