The company is continuing to expand its portfolio through a disciplined M&A strategy and is seeking an Investing Vice President to play a significant role in identifying, evaluating, and executing these investments.

The Opportunity

The Vice President will be a key member of the investment team, with responsibility across the full M&A lifecycle.

Working closely with senior operating leadership and business development, the Vice President will help identify attractive acquisition opportunities, develop relationships with business owners, evaluate investment opportunities, lead transaction execution, and work with the operating team following an acquisition.

The role offers substantial exposure to both investment decision-making and the underlying businesses, making it particularly relevant for an investment professional who wants to move beyond a traditional transaction-focused role.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities across the commercial and industrial services landscape.
• Develop relationships with founders, business owners, intermediaries, and other sources of proprietary and intermediated opportunities.
• Lead financial analysis, valuation, investment underwriting, and due diligence.
• Develop investment theses and assess the strategic and financial merits of prospective acquisitions.
• Lead transaction processes from initial evaluation through negotiation, structuring, and closing.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors throughout the diligence and execution process.
• Partner with operating leadership to evaluate acquisition opportunities and develop post-acquisition growth plans.
• Monitor the performance of acquired businesses and contribute to strategic initiatives designed to support their continued development.
• Help shape the broader M&A strategy and acquisition pipeline for the platform.

Candidate Profile
