Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ relevant experience in Customer Service with emphasis on investments or investment-related products preferred.
• Prior work experience in a related job with understanding of activities, policies, procedures and concepts.
• Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies preferred.
• Understanding of multiple products across business lines with networking and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently within established procedures and make decisions without manager approval.
• Capable of handling multiple functions with high accuracy.
• Ability to support a diverse array of products and services.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) preferred.
• Required current US FINRA Registration: SIE, Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65).

Responsibilities

• Fully accountable for servicing and supporting Citi’s Investment and/or Banking clients.
• Clearly articulate business value proposition and match clients with the correct set of products and services.
• Engage with clients to transition those whose needs align with digital solutions.
• Articulate the value proposition for Citigold and Citi Private Client and digital programs.
• Provide timely responses to client service requests via telephone or email.
• Offer exceptional support and issue resolution with end-to-end ownership and closed-loop process.
• Ensure customer claims and complaints follow FINRA and firm policy.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners when appropriate.
• Manage client follow-up and comply with Regulatory and Compliance procedures.
• Adhere to KYC/AML and other compliance norms; assess risk in decision making.
• Escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency.
