Job summary

F&G is seeking a Sr. Investment Accountant to support the Close and Analysis team within the Investment COE. You will perform GAAP reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and analyze investment data while supporting audits and process improvements.

The role emphasizes ownership of processes from start to finish, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and driving efficiencies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
2+ years in related field or combination with a professional designation considered.

Responsibilities

Perform GAAP/stat basis reconciliations for investment accounts and related subledger handling.
Prepare manual journal entries and extract GL details from Oracle.
Analyze investment data and explain variances.
Manage high volumes of investment data with accuracy from start to finish.
Execute monthly close tasks for Clearwater and coordinate with the team.
Assist in external and internal audits and document findings.
Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
