Job summary

Pure Search seeks an Investment Accounting Lead to manage the accounting, reporting and analysis of investment portfolios. You will drive GAAP and Statutory disclosures, support monthly/quarterly close, and collaborate with auditors and third-party providers.

The role emphasizes independent ownership, process improvements and leadership of automation initiatives within a fast-paced finance environment. Prior experience with investment systems like Aladdin, WINGS, and SAP GL is preferred, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; plus five years of related experience.
• Experience with Excel, Clearwater, PAM, BlackRock Aladdin, WINGS, Gain Compliance, Workiva, Wdesk and SAP GL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly GAAP and Statutory investment results packages for senior management.
• Analyze investment income and realized gains/losses across asset classes.
• Manage monthly/quarterly derivative accounting processes, including journal entries and disclosures.
• Collaborate with third-party accounting providers to ensure timely reporting.
• Support internal/external audits and internal control initiatives.
• Lead process improvements and automation efforts.
