Responsibilities

  • Investigate reports of uninsured employers and workers’ compensation fraud using interviews, records research, databases, and field work.
  • Analyze payroll, employment, business, financial, medical, and other records to determine compliance and violations.
  • Prepare investigative reports, petitions, subpoenas, hearing materials, and provide testimony.
  • Coordinate with employers, employees, witnesses, insurers, attorneys, and agency partners to gather information and support enforcement actions.
