Job summary

AHCCCS seeks an Auditor 3 to perform audits and investigations of AHCCCS FFS, AIHP, 638/IHS, TRBHA, FQHC, and MCO providers to ensure program integrity and compliance with Medicaid/Medicare rules.

The role analyzes data, prepares high level reports, and collaborates with executive management. The position may offer remote work within Arizona and requires a valid driver license and state residency.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as an Auditor, investigator or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Healthcare, Criminal Justice or related field.
• CPC, CFE certification or related healthcare financial background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit/investigation of AHCCCS FFS, AIHP, 638/IHS, TRBHA, FQHC and MCOs to verify program integrity.
• Research policy changes to Medicaid/Medicare as it relates to compliance.
• Analyze and interpret data to communicate audit results.
• Review Corporate Compliance Deliverables for FFS/AIHP/MCO.
• Produce high level reports and correspondence for executives and external parties.
• Conduct interviews and obtain statements from providers and clients.
• Other duties as assigned (5–10%).
