Job summary

The State of Oklahoma seeks an Investigator for the DAC District 8 Fin to conduct proactive and reactive investigations, including narcotics and major felonies. You will use surveillance, warrants, and intelligence gathering, while collecting and preserving evidence for prosecution.

You will prepare affidavits, testify in court, and coordinate with prosecutors and other agencies. A valid Oklahoma driver’s license and CLEET certification are required, with advanced certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of full-time, certified law enforcement experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Oklahoma criminal statutes, rules of evidence, and search & seizure laws.
• Ability to pass background investigations and drug screening.
• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive and reactive criminal investigations involving narcotics trafficking, violent crime, and major felony offenses.
• Utilize surveillance, undercover operations, search warrants, and intelligence gathering techniques.
• Collect, preserve, and process physical and digital evidence in accordance with legal standards.
• Prepare detailed investigative reports and affidavits for prosecution.
• Testify in court proceedings as a fact and/or expert witness.
• Coordinate with prosecutors, law enforcement agencies, and other investigative partners.
• Participate in specialized operations including warrant service, interdiction, and joint task force activities.

• Strong knowledge of Oklahoma criminal statutes, rules of evidence, and search & seizure laws.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass a thorough background investigation and drug screening.
