Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking a mid-level structural engineer to join our Investigative Engineering Group in Larkspur, California.

The role combines in-office design work with on-site evaluations, mentoring staff, client meetings, and producing engineering deliverables aligned with project needs. You will contribute to a national expansion, work with a team on building envelope assessments, non-destructive testing, and expert witness work, and collaborate with owners, architects, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program and 4 years of progressive engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work in the Larkspur area; relocation reimbursement may be provided.
• Strong written and verbal communication and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform investigations with in-house staff and clients.
• Engage with clients and contractors as primary project contact throughout the life cycle.
• Lead engineering staff to produce high-quality project documentation using CAD/graphics software.
• Develop, monitor, and manage project work plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Build lasting client relationships through project work and business development.
• Develop design recommendations for projects and assemble drawings and specs.
• Follow project QA/QC plans and contribute to project success.
