Martin/Martin, Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a mid-level structural engineer to join our Investigative Engineering Group. The role blends in-office design with on-site assessments and supports renovation, retrofit, and repair projects for existing structures.

You will mentor staff, liaise with clients and contractors, prepare reports, and produce engineering deliverables. Candidates should have a PE and a ABET-accredited engineering degree, 4+ years of experience, and be eligible to work in the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• 4+ years progressive engineering experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work in the Atlanta area; relocation assistance may be provided.
• Demonstrates effective communication and technical skills.
• Master's degree in ABET-accredited engineering curriculum (preferred).
• 6-8 years progressive engineering experience (preferred).
• Experience leading projects from design to construction.
• Active participation in professional societies (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate investigations with in-house staff and clients.
• Engage with clients and contractors as primary contact.
• Produce project documentation using CAD and graphics software.
• Develop and monitor project work plans, schedules, and design budgets.
• Build strong client relationships through project work and business development.
• Develop design recommendations for projects.
• Assemble drawings, write specs, and follow QA/QC plans.
