The role reports to the Director of Legal Investigations and involves managing a diverse intake and investigative caseload, including matters before federal and state

Formación

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• 2-5+ years of attorney experience.
• Active bar in good standing.
• Litigation/investigations or civil rights experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct intake interviews with prospective clients, complainants, and witnesses.
• Evaluate potential legal claims and advise on case strategy.
• Investigate factual allegations by gathering and analyzing documents and records.
• Research federal and state civil rights laws and regulations.
• Draft memoranda, demand letters, and administrative complaints.
• Support matters before federal and state agencies and courts.
• Maintain communications with clients and outside counsel.
