Job summary

Avantor is seeking a site services professional to perform mission-based lab work and inventory support at our Chandler, AZ location. The role focuses on receiving, stocking, inventory control, and coordinating with customers, with a Monday–Friday day shift and an hourly wage of $18.60.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year in customer service or material handling, be able to lift 50 lbs, and possess basic computer skills; GMP experience is strongly desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of customer service, inventory replenishment, or material handling experience.
• Microsoft Teams experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Previous GMP facility experience strongly desired.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive products at customer dock or shipping/receiving point.
• Record receipts of inventory against packing slips and follow up on discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels in storerooms and customer areas.
• Transport consumables within the facility and stock locations.
• Use scanner/software to transact stocking quantities and verify records.
• Perform regular POU audits and maintain item quantity changes.
• Serve as point of contact for inventory availability issues and escalation.
• Support special projects such as tours and non-standard activities onsite.
• Meet scheduling requirements and perform other duties as assigned.
