Job summary

DSV is seeking a Team Lead, Inventory to coordinate and oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor and focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency to meet service objectives.

You will mentor staff, enforce SOPs, operate MHE, and monitor performance metrics while ensuring accurate inventory control and adherence to ISO standards. This full-time position is based in Frederick, MD.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in logistics/distribution.
• Able to operate material handling equipment (MHE).
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures in warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new/existing associates in distribution activities to meet customer demands.
• Train associates on SOPs including shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control.
• Assist in forklift operation and certification for new/existing associates.
• Oversee unloading inbound shipments and staging outbound shipments per SOPs.
• Ensure accuracy of inbound/outbound paperwork and product counts.
• Communicate professionally with customers via phone, email or in person.
