Job summary

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and cost objectives in a hands-on team environment.

You will mentor associates, train on SOPs for shipping/receiving, supervise quality control, and ensure accuracy of paperwork and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new and existing associates on distribution activities
• Train staff on Standard Operating Procedures for shipping, receiving, picking and quality control
• Assist forklift operation and certification for associates
• Oversee unloading, stacking, and staging of shipments; verify inbound/outbound paperwork
• Load orders efficiently according to doors and trailers
• Ensure all shipping/receiving/picking follows SOPs
• Research discrepancies in shipping/receiving processes
• Ensure professional conduct in customer communications
• Prepare activity reports for site management
• Quality control to verify accuracy of orders and compliance with standards
• Maintain safe, clean, and compliant warehouse conditions
• Direct warehouse team to meet productivity and safety goals
• Report non-conformities to Quality Department and participate in safety meetings
