Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is offering a 10-week summer internship in the Chicagoland area for rising seniors in undergraduate programs. The Inventory Management Supply Chain Intern will work with senior managers on process improvement and business system projects across the supply chain, including forecasting, inventory deployment, stocking policies.

You'll extract data, report, and turn it into information to support decisions that align with service levels, inventory targets, and expense

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Engineering (Industrial preferred).
• Junior standing with 3.0 minimum GPA preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization, communication, data analysis and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement knowledge a plus.
• Unrestricted permanent US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with process improvement and business system projects across the supply chain.
• Analyze inventory, demand planning, and stocking policies.
• Extract data, generate reports, and convert data into actionable insights for decision making.
• Support development of forecasts and production schedules.
• Create reports to detect outliers and potential issues before they impact the system.
• Collaborate with senior managers on department initiatives.
