Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a motivated Supply Chain/Inventory Management Intern for Summer 2027 (Project Management) to work with senior managers on process improvements across the supply chain. The 10-week program runs early June through mid-August in the Chicagoland area.

The role involves data extraction, reporting, and turning data into actionable insights to meet service levels and inventory targets.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Engineering (Industrial preferred)
• Junior standing with 3.0 minimum GPA preferred
• Strong leadership abilities and analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent organization, communication, data analysis and follow up skills (Project management experience preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement principles is a plus (Six Sigma, PMP, CPIM)
• Knowledge of data and visualization applications (Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, TDV, KNIME, SAP, Business Objects) is a plus
• Unrestricted permanent US work authorization

Responsibilities

• Support process improvement and business system projects across the supply chain
• Assist with optimization of supply and demand planning
• Help develop inventory deployment strategies and stocking policies
• Extract data, report, and convert data into information to support decisions
• Collaborate with senior managers on project work
• Assist in creating reports to monitor service levels and inventory targets
