Job summary

Bertolino Foods seeks a detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join its Peabody, MA warehouse team. This full-time role focuses on cycle counts, inventory integrity, and accurate lot coding to keep products moving smoothly.

Responsibilities include daily cycle counts, discrepancy research, FIFO support, and safe equipment operation. The position requires a high school diploma, ability to lift 75 lbs, and comfort with cold environments; overtime and weekend shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse, inventory, or cycle count experience preferred.
• Strong counting and math skills with attention to detail.
• Comfortable using basic computer/inventory software (Microsoft Office a plus).
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in cold storage/freezer environments.
• Experience with scissor lifts/high lifts is a plus.
• Available for occasional overtime and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
• Research and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy.
• Support FIFO rotation and organization across all storage locations.
• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, stand-up jack, forklift, scissor lift, etc.).
• Assist with monthly physical inventory counts.
• Follow food safety practices (SQF, HACCP, GMP) and workplace safety regulations.
• Work as part of a team to keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
