Job summary

Bertolino Foods in Peabody, MA is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage daily shipping and receiving operations on the 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift. You will handle invoicing, customer will-calls, inbound scheduling, and data entry for PO numbers, collaborating with the Logistics team to keep paperwork and product moving.

Qualifications

2+ years in Food Industry, Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving, Transportation, or Manufacturing.
Excellent planning and organizing skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to act with integrity and confidentiality.
Knowledge of inventory systems, CRM, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Invoicing and documentation for warehouse operations, including printing invoices.
Plan inbound delivery schedule with vendors and dispatch; coordinate dock assignments.
Enter PO data and handle receiving of incoming product.
Coordinate truck yard traffic and resolve scheduling conflicts with the coordinator.
Communicate with customers, vendors and drivers professionally and promptly.
Ensure food safety, GMP, and USDA compliance; maintain clean, safe work area.
