Job summary

RENK America Marine & Industry is looking for an Inventory Specialist in Shipping & Receiving to accurately receive, count, issue, and pack parts to maintain strong inventory control. The role involves processing deliveries, moving materials to stock locations, and executing shipments as part of a high-performing team.

The position requires attention to detail, ability to operate forklifts and cranes, and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Supply Chain or related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Accurately count, pick, issue, and process parts for inventory management.
• Move materials to stock locations and properly identify parts on receipt.
• Strong attention to detail for recording part numbers and serial numbers.
• Prepare shipments, packing materials, and shipping documentation.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, or manual methods.
• Forklift certification (training offered; valid Driver's License required).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and safe use of material-handling equipment.
• Identify defective materials or unusual conditions and report promptly.
• Work on computer and use multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Count, pick, issue, pack and process parts for inventory control.
• Receive deliveries and coordinate with Purchasing/Quality as needed.
• Move received items into stock locations on the shop floor.
• Identify parts at receipt and maintain records including serial numbers.
• Issue parts to jobs and departments as required.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and equipment.
• Perform packing and paperwork for shipping.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes when required.
