Job summary

RENK America Marine & Industry seeks an Inventory Specialist in Shipping & Receiving to accurately receive, count, issue, and pack parts, supporting strong inventory control and timely production. You will move materials to stock locations, prepare shipments, operate material-handling equipment, and ensure parts are identified and recorded properly.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field with 4+ years of experience (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field (Preferred)
• Ability to count, pick, issue, and process parts for inventory management
• Move materials to stock locations and identify parts on receipt
• Strong attention to detail for recording part numbers and transaction data
• Prepare shipments with packing materials and shipping documentation
• Load/unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, or manual methods
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work areas

Responsibilities

• Count, pick, issue, pack and process parts for inventory control
• Receive deliveries and coordinate with Purchasing/Quality as needed
• Move received items into shop floor stock locations
• Identify parts and maintain records for issuing
• Issue parts to jobs and departments as required
• Maintain records for serial numbers and transaction data
• Prepare shipments and complete shipping paperwork
• Load/unload trucks using forklifts or manual methods
• Operate overhead crane when applicable
• Identify defective materials or unusual conditions and report
• Use power/hand tools to assemble shipping crates
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
