Walgreens is seeking a detail-oriented retail professional to manage inventory across front-end and pharmacy, including receiving, counting, pricing, and returns. The role involves ensuring On-Shelf Availability, executing planograms, and supporting asset protection programs.

You will also engage customers, supervise daily operations, and contribute to accurate pricing and stock control. In designated shifts, you may open/close the store, perform cash handling, and supervise the floor.

Competenze

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

• Executes, monitors, and trains inventory best practices for the store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Supports pharmacy inventory management activities: receiving, counting, ordering, returns.
• Manages On-Shelf Availability, receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes.
• Verifies and ensures accuracy of planograms.
• Reviews reports and system applications affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Executes and maintains asset protection, files claims for overages, shortages, errors, or damaged goods including prescription drugs.
• Opens and closes the store as required, handling cash and ensuring floor and stock room readiness.
• Engages customers, assists with products and services, and resolves issues to ensure positive experience.
• Models service best practices and guides team on greeting, courtesy, and proactive assistance.
• Coaches team on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes: creating, reviewing, receiving orders.
• Scans deliveries, handles One Box receiving, and corrects past undelivered orders.
• Verifies pharmacy shipments postings and completes recall and order postings daily.
• Performs end-to-end On-Shelf Availability tasks, disposals, returns, and scanner operations for multiple departments.
• Maintains pharmacy inventory, recalls, returns, and interstore transfers as applicable.
• Executes pricing activities including changes, markdowns, and signage accuracy.
• Supports ordering by monitoring and limiting excess orders; maintains consigned inventory.
• Keeps designated areas updated and maintains inventory counts across departments and stockrooms.
• Ensures compliance with state and local laws for regulated products.
• Maintains inventory records and prepares for physical inventory days.
• Supports pickup program and package delivery processes.
• Coaches and communicates tasks as leader on duty and handles POS-related transactions.
• Complies with company policies and completes additional tasks as assigned.
