Job Description: Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the inventory program. This position involves overseeing processes and procedures for a large-volume, small-part inventory, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze large data sets. A continuous improvement mindset is essential to identify efficiencies and optimize inventory management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Tracking all inventory used by contractors for WIFI cable installation, including materials such as splitters, construction supplies, vaults, and markers, on contractor sites (not in client warehouses).
  • Labeling and correctly placing inventory items.
  • Verifying stock information and unit identification numbers.
  • Auditing equipment and parts, unboxing, sorting, staging units for production, and receiving units with RF handheld devices.
  • Performing cycle counts and inventory audits according to company policies.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Proficiency in computer and Excel skills is a plus.
