Job Description: Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist plays a vital role in managing the inventory program, focusing on processes and procedures for large-volume, small-part inventory. The ideal candidate will be adept at organizing extensive data and extracting key information, with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Tracking inventory used by contractors for WIFI cable installation and related materials (splitters, vaults, markers, etc.) on contractor sites, not in a client's warehouse.
  • Labeling and placing inventory correctly on-site.
  • Verifying stock information and unit identification numbers.
  • Auditing equipment and parts, unboxing, sorting, and staging units for production.
  • Receiving units using RF handheld devices.
  • Performing cycle counts and inventory audits in accordance with company policies.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Flexible scheduling.
  • Proficiency with computers and Excel is a plus.
